I think it's convenient on top, but at the same time, distracting from the main content. Just wanted a few opinions but it looks like it will be staying where it is

I don't think it really matters, cuz most of us just click on 'New Posts'
The stats are nice, but they're not really the reason why we come to this place

Well, most of us come here so we can rag on you for never being here

The stats are just a nice thing to have. We can see the top thanked and repped (and since those systems can't be easily abused here, they mean something). It also shows the most viewed threads, which helps us know what kind of content is being requested

Hey...Just thought I'd say I've started using this tool. The Latest Posts section is very handy and I think the best place is down by the shoutbox, so you can be viewing both shoutbox and Latest Posts at the same time!

Indeed, this tool is very handy. I often use it so I can check on new members...ya know...to make sure they are spammers But also, like you, I use it for the latest posts. It's quick, convenient and allows me to stay near the shoutbox.

Can you add / remove specific forums from it?

I'd like the Off Topic Discussion but excluding the WAG....Can you do that?

<edit>Reason begin, I started a thread in there earlier, but I don't think anyone's seen it...</edi>

I left the off-topic forum out because I'd rather it be used for on-topic discussions. Even if off-topic was included, I couldn't exclude by individual threads.
