I am trying some things in php5 which I have installed as isapi on SBS 2K5 and am having some strange things going on...

The issue is "Call to undefined function mssql_connect()" Im sure you have all seen it before... mssql extension not turned on.

All my paths are set, the php.ini mssql_connect lines uncommented, the dll is in the right spot but it still cant find the function.

I tried a couple of different php.ini files, by renaming them and swapping them, no change what so ever. I have deleted php.ini entirely and no change but php is still running fine on the server ?!?WTF

I am guessing that for some reason my installation is not even referencing the php.ini file but then how is it running?

I cant find php under services to restart it and a server reboot is out of the question as it is our live server and very busy at this time of day.

Does anyone run php on windows who can point me in the right direction?
