    Buffalo...I have used their cable routers as WAPs and they are ok...but yeah cheapish and cheerful.

    I've always used D-Link at home....the first one I had non-wireless ran with no problems until it went out (last about 5yrs or so). Now I have a wireless one and no probs.

    I find it strange you place D-Link on the bottom. I've had less issues with my D-Link than LinkSys or NetGear. Professionally, though, there are high quality Cisco routers to be used...but mainly for large companies and networks.

    well, yah.... cisco for large operations.... As far as the D-Link, I've had more problems from them then everybody else..... 'course that was like 8 years ago when they disappointed me..... maybe their qc and ease of use has gotten better over the years. I've had probs with Netgear NICs but rarely routers.
