    Generic Paging Class

    Hey guys

i'm dealing with paging now, and i've searched alot of examples on the net
and got an example here too, but they all seem very heavy, and they are
not generic, ie. you'd have to duplicate the code if ya had more than one
    on your page.

I'd like to make a generic one, one where all you would have to do is pass
your datasource and maybe page number to it? This is beyond what i'm
capable to do on my own at the moment.

Anyone know how to achieve this or wanna help me achieve this?
Or if ya can point me in the right direction

You should be able to do so using the PagedDataSource Class. Follow the example here: Paging Results with ASP.NET's PagedDataSource [ASP & .NET Tutorials]

You should be able to see what parameters you could plug into a function/sub to the PagedDataSource and go from there.

THere are a bunch of code converters available that do C#->VB.NET and VB.NET->C# conversion. The one here CodeProject: Pager Control for Repeater, DataList, or an Enumerable Collection. Free source code and programming help seems to do a fair job.

Opinions expressed are my own and do not necessity reflect those of any sane person. Any code provided is intended to be an example and is provided AS IS. Void where prohibited by law. Not valid in California. Your mileage may vary.
