    This little program is great, Kill process, Delete locked files, corrupted folders which you cant delete etc. Right click menu option.

    VSO Image Resizer - This is a life saving tool for resizing a big batch of photos ready for uploading or emailing. If you regularly do this it is a must install imo anyway

    Hi, This one is a real Gem

    It won't help with programming but if you have vista and like music, this is definately a widget you'll want to have.

    Hmmmm, you guys left out three very important tools:

    Threatfire is a real time spyware/malware scanner. I have a gamer son who always goes to "cheat" sites, and this program was the only one that continuously stopped him from crashing the system.

    MalWareBytes is almost a requirement these days for scanning for spyware/malware. I've tried all of the free ones listed above, and even some of the paid ones, and I still think that MalWareBytes is still one of the best.

    Norman Malware Cleaner is another great spyware/malware scanner/removal tool. It's really slow, but catches a lot of things that all others miss.

    As far as other free software, I always check Give Away Of The Day (GOTD) each day, as sometimes they have some really good software for free.
