Thread: SQL2000Analyzer equivalent in 2005?

Hi All,

1) Where is the analyzer tool in 2005?

2) If you have 2 queries in window but only highlight 1, will it just execute that one like in sqlAnalyzer?

found it..."New Query" on the database name level.

i don't like changes.....i hope i don't have to upgrade yet.

Another question, I see the icon to for design view but when I click it, it opens a new window, does this always happen this way to use the design view?

Yes, in the Management Studio...when you click on "New Query" you get a new tool bar at the top...you can see the !Execute button and about 5 icons down one is called Design in Query Editor.
