Thread: Moving to new server

Hi All,

Ok, I know there is a backup and restore method for moving a sql db from one place to another ...even though I've never had to do it I will this time.

But, my question is, that doesn't help me with getting over the backup/maintenance plans or the logins. How should/can this be handled?

same version of sql (SQL2000) but on 2003 Windows server.
