    Yes, but isn't it the Browser that is generating the .xls file? I'm visualizing that you rendering the file in the Browser and then doing a Save As... to create the .xls file. Maybe wrong here.

    Or are you talking about the VERY SAME .xls file from your machine to his?

    Yeah, as a check then I would take the .xls file from your machine and try it on the 'broken' machine. If it 'works', then it's a brower problem, if its still broke, then it's and excel problem.

    Hey All

    It turned out the his regional setting on his computer in the control panel was set for kr (kroner) currency....changed this to US $ and all is well...w00h00. Thanks everyone!
