    Virtual Directories question

    Hi All,

When I open IIS I see the following:

    left pane window:
    IIS-
    -*servername
    --Default Web Site
    ---Folder Name(ex: Tools)
    ---Folder Name(ex: Damages)
    ..etc.

Well, my question is...each folder is setup for each unique application and instead of my stopping all of IIS which would pull all offline, is there a way to only stop one folder (application) at a time (ex: Tools)?

    Thanks!

No, since they are setup as virtual directories of the parent site. The only way to stop it is to stop the parent site.

    Hey Memnoch,

Thanks for the reply. Ok, that's exactly what I needed to know.
