Discuss "Exercise Database" in the Microsoft Access forum.

Hey guys... after several days of working on this I finally got something I am happy with. What do you think. I tried to implement something from all the examples you all gave me. This was very challenging and having your examples really helped teach me. I was surprised at how difficult it was to actually put something together that is really this simple. It is easy to read a book or a website but until you do it... I didn't realize how challenging it would be. But I love this stuff and look forward to learning much more.

One quick question... how do I remove the greenish border on the left bottom subform? I cannot figure it out.

looks great.... to get rid of the green border around the subform, from the design view of the main form, right click on the upper border of the subform, go to properties, click on the format tab, then for border style, choose transparent. Of course the camo won't exactly match up.

Other than that, I noticed you didn't have a double click for time in the end time. I would put that in, so you don't have to manually enter the time. You can even place a simple blank button beside the start and end times to do the same thing on the "on click event" for each of the buttons.

I guess I was working in the properties of the subform itself and not the main form when I was trying to get rid of that border because I could not figure it out. Once I did what you said it worked fine although because the camo didn't match up I decided it looked better with a white border instead of the greenish.

I actually did not put the double click in on purpose because I update this form after I am done working out. I use pen and paper in the gym and then transfer it over to the form after I am done so a double click wouldn't work for me.. but now that I am thinking about it... It might be cool to bring the laptop into the gym and use it in this manner... I could then do reports on how long I worked an exercise and how long I rested between sets... hmmm... this could be pretty cool to analyze my workouts down the road
