Default AJAX "post" not "get"

G'day!

Has anyone used AJAX to send post data rather than querystring data, I need to submit a text field and it is too big for GET, been using AJAX a while now but never seen a solution to sending POST data.....

I'm sure it can be done! Iframe solution maybe??

Maybe this is the solution you're looking for: Use the XMLHttpRequest Object to Post Data

dr_rock agrees: I had implemented an Iframe solution, this one a much better option
