Smile Menu Buttons Tips/Suggestions

Hi All,

Not sure if this belongs here or multimedia.

I used this link below to make menu buttons, but was wondering how/what you guys use when making a menu with pretty buttons?

I always like to keep it somewhat simple. Check this out:

I just started reading this book, they were giving it away free online. Its a good book!
