    Passwords are the keys to the Personally Identifiable Information (PII) stored on your computer and online accounts. If a criminal or any other type of malicious user were to gain access to this information, they could potentially use your name to open new credit card accounts or even pose as you when purchasing items online.

  2. Tips to build a more secure web application - Part I

    I thought I'd write a series of blog entries detailing how to build a secure website. Although, this will not specifically be focused on building an e-commerce website, these tips can and should be implemented on any data driven website, that allows multiple user access.

    I'll try to do a blog entry every so often in order to cover various areas that should be addressed. This first entry will be over login and session management tips.
