    Free aspupload question/SQL server agent

    Hi All,

    I recently changed the metabase.xml file as directed to increase filesize limit...instructions were found on this link:

    Free ASP Upload

    under server settings...

    But today noticed that sql server agent stopped running, I was just able to start it but didn't know what would cause sql server agent to stop running...possible my change to the metabase.xml file?

    I didn't go back and uncheck the box that reads "Allow changes to MetaBase configuration while IIS is running" and noticed the last time it was updated was on Saturday...? instead of Friday when I made the change. But my change to the limit was still there.

    Do I need to go back and uncheck the box in IIS?

    it definitely wouldn't be your change to the metabase file as it has nothing to do with SQL Server. why it stopped running, i have no clue. you may want to look at the log files for the SQL Server. there may be something there that could give you a clue.

    you can uncheck it if you want. it won't do anything since the file has already been changed.

    Thanks for the info. I think I will go ahead and just uncheck it since I'm not sure what made it change after I made the change on friday.

    do you know where I find the logs for sql server?
